What Active Adults Are Saying

Real stories from people who came in stuck and left with a plan they could actually follow.

I am an active runner and I have struggled with tendonitis in my left knee for a long time. I went to see Ryan and was very impressed with his specific diagnosis of my injury. He listened well and provided a thoughtful and accurate analysis of my problem. He spent the time showing me each of the specific exercises/movements that would help me rehab my knee. He used video analysis to show me the challenges my knee was having. At the end of the day it was Ryan's exercises, treatment and care that got me up and running again! Next stop for me is the Boston Marathon! Thanks Ryan!!

Dr. Ryan is the absolute best physical therapist on the planet (I may be subject to a little hyperbole here, but I have my reasons)! I am a 67 year old powerlifter who came to the sport significantly later in life. When I started working with Dr Ryan, I had knee pain during my squat attempts (and a great deal of fear) and shoulder pain during my bench. Dr. Ryan quickly got to the root of the problem and setup an exercise plan to help. He also worked with my trainer Erin Elise of SNS Barbell for a seamless program. And in just 10 weeks it all worked. I can squat to depth with no knee pain and bench pain free. But, the real measure of success is that I just competed in a full power meet where I posted my best numbers ever on squat, bench and deadlift. I also won my division. Now that is progress. Dr. Ryan is funny, positive, kind and thoughtful. He has the determination to diagnose the problem and the subject matter expertise to create an effective plan. Thank you Dr. Ryan for everything.

I have worked and consulted with Ryan for years now. I consider him a trusted mentor and I wouldn’t have any second thoughts being treated by or referring a patient to him. He is a master at his craft and constantly pursuing more information to continue to help as many people as he can! Great PT, even better guy. Highly recommend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here's what people usually want to know before booking their first session.

Do I have to stop training completely?

No. We modify training load and intensity based on your current tolerance, so you can keep moving while you build capacity. The goal is smart progression, not complete rest.

How soon can I get back to full training?

Timelines vary based on your situation, training history, and how your body responds. We reassess regularly and adjust the plan to match your progress rather than rushing a predetermined schedule.

What makes this different from typical PT?

We build plans around your sport and training demands, not generic protocols. You'll get progressive loading, movement retraining, and clear guidance on how to modify and advance your workouts.

Can you work around my training schedule?

Yes. We design plans that fit your life and training calendar. Sessions are structured to complement what you're already doing, not replace it.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Wear athletic clothing you can move in. Bring a list of your current training activities and any questions about your pain or limitations.

Still have questions?

Request an appointment and we'll follow up to confirm fit and schedule your first visit.
