I totally get it. I've been there. I went from deadlifting over 500lbs to not being able to tie my shoes without debilitating pain when I was in my 20s. 

It was through this experience that I learned traditional healthcare often doesn't work for people who want to be able to run, lift weights, and play sports into their 30s, 40s and beyond. 

I was able to get back to deadlifting over 500lbs pain free again and now I move better in my 30s than I did in my 20s. We see patients every week who thought their best years of being fit, strong, and pain-free were behind them. It's not easy but it's doable. 

Ultimately the way we do things is not for everyone. The way we do things is for people who want to not just get out of pain, but become more fit as they age.
